Job Context
• We are looking for Officer - IE, Torque Fashions Ltd. (Woven Denim Factory).
• Torque Group entered into manufacturing activities in 2013. Now with its 4 sister concerns, Torque Group is a leading manufacturer in Bangladesh. The group is producing a wide range of top quality denim bottoms including some non-denim products. Torque Group aspires to be the leader supplier in global fashion business by offering best expertise and knowledge in producing Ready Made Garments.
Job Responsibilities
• Plan and oversee layout of equipment, office, and production facilities, production schedule and re-engineering the layout for better productivity.
• Analyze work-force assignment, facility layout, and operational data to determine efficient utilization of employees and equipment and recommend methods for improving employee efficiency and reducing wastage.
• Ensure the generation of accurate factory performance and trend reports including line efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity utilization, NPT and rework.
• Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance, clerical, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency.
• Ensure the integrity of factory performance databases, in accordance with the company manufacturing instruction, to reflect line and product variants due to new products, process changes and related annual variable budget revisions.
• Review the machine list on daily basis, implement lean manufacturing process and KAIZEN or any other technique for continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior pertaining to the safety, quality and efficiency of the factory.
• Ensure technical and pre-production meeting with production and quality team before new style/input are given in line.
• Ensure bundle cares are providing to cutting section for every style.
